WELCOME TO STANFORD ALUMNI
The Stanford Alumni Association seeks to serve all Stanford alumni and students by offering programs and services such as reunions, regional events, Stanford Magazine, online services, volunteer and apprenticeship opportunities, and the alumni directory.
History
The official foundation as an association registered in the National Registry of Associations of the Ministry of the Interior took place on February 14, 1985, with its address at Puerto Bermeo 12, home of the vice-president Juan María de Amador, and the first president being Marcelino Elosua.
Aims of the association
To maintain the spirit of learning and the professional and human enrichment of its members. To this end, we encourage the mutual exchange of technical, personal and professional experiences and contact with national and international personalities and organizations.
Mission
Under the name of Stanford University Alumni Association in Spain, an Association is constituted under the protection of the Organic Law 1/2002, of March 22, 2002, regulating the Right of Association and complementary norms, with legal personality and full capacity to act, without profit motive.
The Stanford Alumni Association provides undergraduate and graduate students with networking opportunities, social events and programs that enhance their Stanford experience and help them connect with the more than 200,000 alumni from around the world who make up the Stanford alumni community.
Stanford University is a private institution founded in 1885. It has a total enrollment of 7,062 undergraduates, its setting is suburban and the campus size is 8,180 acres. It uses a term-based academic calendar.
